If you think that buying Bitcoin is hard, try selling it. Getting into the cryptocurrency space became relatively easy, but to this day there aren’t many platforms that offer quick, easy, and secure Bitcoin withdrawals. And Lumi Wallet is about to change that.
If you wish to withdraw Bitcoin to your credit or debit card in Lumi Wallet, please bear in mind that the service is limited to BTC withdrawals, Visa cards, and available for the EU area only.
In your Lumi Wallet app, tap on the ‘Withdraw’ icon at the bottom of the screen and fill in the amount of Bitcoin or Euro that you wish to withdraw and click on the ‘Next’ button.
You will then be redirected to the Simplex checkout page, where you can double-check the amounts and see the approximate amount of EUR that you will receive, as well as the current exchange rate and processing fee.
Provide your valid email address and tap on ‘Verify’ and check your email inbox.
Open the email from Simplex and click on ‘Verify’, go back to the Lumi Wallet app and proceed with the confirmed email by clicking on ‘Continue’.
Fill in your credit card details, including the card number, expiration date, and name. Then enter your billing address, city, zip, and pick your country from the list.
Simplex is legally obligated to verify your identity, that’s why you are required to upload an ID, whether it’s a passport (two-page spread with your photo), driver’s license (both sides), or national ID card (both sides).
Pick the document type, upload it, and fill in the details of your document such as date of birth, issuing country, number, and expiration date. Then enter your residential address (the exact address, city, and zip) or tick the box if it is the same as your billing address. Once it’s done, tap on ‘Continue’.
To verify that it is you who is making the purchase, you need to take a picture of yourself holding your bank card.
Add the photo and tap on ‘Continue’.
Once you are redirected back to Lumi Wallet, check the transaction details and press on the ‘Confirm’ button.
Your job is now over and now Simplex will start processing your transaction. The process consists of four steps and Simplex will notify you when each step is finalized via email.
The 4 steps include:
