SafeMoom (SAFEMOON) is a decentralized finance (DeFi) token. It is a blockchain protocol based on Ethereum (ERC-20 tokens) and on the Binance Smart Chain blockchain. Lumi supports only the ETH protocol. SafeMoon was released on 8th March 2021. According to the information on the official website, the token has 3 functions for each transaction: Reflection, LP Acquisition, and Burn.
The innovation of the token is that the SafeMoon protocol is a combination of RFI tokenomics and an auto-liquidity generating protocol. The protocol wants to solve the problem of the existence of high APY LP-farms that don’t have easy access for newcomers to crypto. SafeMoon adheres to the idea of static rewards (making the reward conditional on the volume of the token being traded). Also, the creators made sure that “HODL” tokens were more profitable in the long term (high % rate) than using market manipulation. SafeMoon has six leaders: CEO John Karony, CBO Thomas Smith, DSE Hank Wyatt, COO Jack Haines, etc.
